Become a Member of Stone’s Throw Co-op

A food co-op is a grocery that is owned by the people who shop there.  Member-owners of Stone’s Throw Market Co-Op purchase a $90 equity share in our community-owned grocery and enjoy many great benefits:

· We have a voice –

Co-ops are democracies, so we get to vote on and/or run for the Board of Directors.  We also participate in making decisions about the future of our business!

· We are part of something bigger –

Membership gives us a chance to work together to create the change we wish to see in our community. From food programs to volunteering within our community, we help make a change and positively impact the lives of Miami County residents.

· We earn patronage refunds –

When the co-op is profitable, we get dividends back based on how much we spend at the market.
